Meet Nathan Gyde (Fabricator/Welder)

Impact Off-Road is a family owned business. Built over 20 years ago, it has been making bold strides through the various agricultural, horticultural, dairy, forestry sectors across New Zealand and internationally. In any company, it is an integral cog in the gear that its people believe in what they are doing. Chris McPhail, owner and chief of operations at Impact Off Road, sought out to find his missing links that would allow the company to expand, grow and flourish on the back of its already reputable reputation for another 20 years and more.

A new fresh face on site, Nathan Gyde’s introduction into the Impact Off Road Group has been fast paced and action packed. On our long hunt for someone to fill the position of Fabricator & Welder, this young Hamilton Boys High School prospect has been an absolute find amongst the many applicants. With a work background stretching across part-time GIB fixing during school and going on to work through Trade Staff, Modern Transport Engineering and TMC Engineering, Nathan's resume was hard to ignore.

During Nathan’s spare time, after work and on weekends you will find him practicing his martial arts at his Muay Thai gym, where he loves to train and prepare for his upcoming fights. Along with his love and passion for the art of fighting, Nathan softens the blow over weekends making garden art. Nathan also enjoys traveling New Zealand and spending time with friends.
